Hi, I'm Cirrus!

I'm just under 2 years old and was found walking near the woods by a nice woman who brought us to Sheltering Hands for help.  I LOVE attention, from the moment you walk into the room I am there to cuddle and snuggle with you!   They say I am "lap cat"... I mean, I've never met a lap I didn't like so I guess it is true! I like to play, especially with string toys.

You should know, I am Feline Leukemia positive so it would be best if I was the only cat in the house or any other cats in the house also were positive.  Don't worry though - Feline Leukemia is NOT contagious to humans or animals other than cats.  And, just because I am positive, it does NOT mean I do not have many more years of love to share with a family.

I am available through the FEel the LoVe+ program.  The adoptioon fee is waived and Sheltering Hands will take care of all my medicals needs for my entire life.  All you need to do is give me an amazing home filled with love, treats, cuddles.. and did I mention treats?!  For more information on the program visit

Since Sheltering Hands home delivers each adopted cat, all adopters must live in the North Central Florida area.  Thank you for understanding. You can meet this wonderful kitty by appointment with an approved application.  Pre-adopt applications are available here:   If you have additional questions you can email Sheltering Hands at
